Wendy J. Ashby is a powerful and resourceful attorney as well as a skilled mediator. She has been licensed to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 1992, and she focuses her practice on elder law, estate planning, estate administration, probate and family law.

Wendy comes to the table with the experience, skill and tenacity to protect her clients' interests. A cornerstone of her practice is her responsiveness to the client’s needs. Wendy listens carefully to each client’s objectives and develops a strategy to obtain those goals while providing unflinching honesty about the prospects of her client’s cases. With that, she exercises her creativity and wisdom to bring about workable solutions. Wendy makes it a priority to respond to all inquiries as soon as possible.

While working for the State of NJ, Wendy consulted for the Superior Court, implementing a more effective court case management system for Mercer County. This experience working for the State, in combination with her twenty-five-plus years of private practice, has given her a unique and powerful insight into the legal system and how it can work best for her clients. As a mediator, in both estate and domestic matters, she uses her skills and insight to craft more successful resolutions to legal disputes than can be achieved through litigation alone.

In great demand as a seasoned elder law and estate attorney, Wendy is often invited to speak at various locations about the importance of long term care planning, estate planning, estate administration/probate, asset protection and many other topics surrounding legal issues.

Wendy Ashby is an active leader in her community. She has been appointed to serve on the following boards, commissions and other community positions:
